چکیده

Chronic endometritis (CE) is an infectious disease of the uterine lining, which characterized by endometrial stromal plasmacyte (ESPC) infiltration. CE often seen in infertile women with a history repeated implantation failure (RIF) following vitro fertilization-embryo transfer program, recurrent pregnancy loss, and unknown etiology. Oral antibiotic agents, such as doxycycline, metronidazole, ciprofloxacin, azithromycin, moxifloxacin, have been prescribed are effective treatment CE. Multi-drug resistance (MDR), however, emerging issue, other medical fields. We report six cases persistent MDR-CE who were resistant to all aforementioned agents. The bacterial genera microbial communities unique not identified their vaginal secretions and/or fluid. lincomycin administration (14 days, 1500 mg/day) was eradication ESPCs these women. In embryo cycles histopathologic confirmation cure (elimination ESPCs) MDR-CE, three out them had successful live birth.

Cytokine Profile in the Endometrium of Normal Fertile and Women with Repeated Implantation Failure

Background: Repeated Implantation Failure (RIF) is one of the most intricate obstacles in assisted reproduction. The cytokine and chemokine composition of uterine cavity seem to play important roles in the implantation process. Objective: To compare the cytokine profile in the endometrium of normal fertile women and those with repeated implantation failure. Methods: After enzymatic digestion of...

Association of estrogen receptor 1 rs9340799 polymorphism with implantation failure in Iranian infertile women

Purpose: Estrogen as a crucial hormone during pregnancy acts by two types of receptors.   Estrogen receptor alpha, expressed by estrogen receptor 1 (ESR1) gene, is more abundant and   exists in all human reproductive systems. Association of ESR1 gene polymorphism has been   shown in some reproductive fields such as spontaneous abortion, endometriosis-related infertility   and in vitro fertili...

Mutasynthesis of lincomycin derivatives with activity against drug-resistant staphylococci.

The lincomycin biosynthetic gene lmbX was deleted in Streptomyces lincolnensis ATCC 25466, and deletion of this gene led to abolition of lincomycin production. The results of complementation experiments proved the blockage in the biosynthesis of lincomycin precursor 4-propyl-L-proline. Feeding this mutant strain with precursor derivatives resulted in production of 4'-butyl-4'-depropyllincomycin...

Effect of Intralipid Infusion on Pregnancy Outcome in Infertile Women with History of Implantation Failure: A Single Blind Randomized Clinical Trial

Background and purpose: Recurrent implantation failure is one of the problems associated with in vitro fertilization cycles. The aim of this study was to evaluate the results of pregnancy using intralipid infusion in infertile women with history of two implantation failures. Materials and methods: A clinical trial was conducted in 80 infertile women in the infertility center in Sari Imam Khom...
